SoundPipe awarded $1.9 million SBIR Phase II grant by NHLBI
SoundPipe was awarded an SBIR Phase I grant from the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health for the project “Ultrasound Catheter for Guiding and Effecting Neointimal Hyperplasia Prevention. The $1,969,837 grant allows SoundPipe to evaluate and refine its technique to control drug dose and spatial coverage after angioplasty in preclinical models. SoundPipe’s technology will improve angioplasty by preventing restenosis after treatment.
